Wood Slat Blinds
Lumberjack wooden blinds are a low-cost way of giving your rooms a fantastic new look. Best of all we deliver them, made to measure, to any mainland UK destination absolutely FREE!
These beautiful blinds are crafted from non-endangered basswood.
The wood is sanded to a smooth finish and then painted or hand-rubbed with a stain and UV resistant multi-coat application for a more natural finish.
This process restricts yellowing and fading and really is the difference that sets our Lumberjack wood slat blinds apart!

Your wood blinds are supplied with 50mm slats, with co-ordinating ladder strings to give you a neater stacking height when your blinds are raised. For lifting your blind up and down a Lift cords is placed on the right hand side. Lift cords are on the left for letting in light or closing for total privacy. All brackets/screws/fixings required are supllied in a neat box for ease of use.

We will manufacture your wood slat blinds exactly to sizes you provide. Should you have any questions or queries when measuring our friendly staff are on hand to assist and guide you through the measuring process.
How to choose your wood blind
1.
Hover cursor over swatches to select a colour/stain finish or email us and we can send you colour swatches, our brochure and pricelist free of charge.

Choose whether to hang your blinds inside or outside the window recess.
Inside Recess: Measure the window frame from wall to wall in 3 places. Tell us the smallest measurement. We will deduct 12mm from the width for you so your wood blind will fit neatly inside the recess when the hanging brackets are fixed.
Outside Recess: Simply supply us with the exact width and drop measurements of where you would like the blind to cover.
Important: Always measure width then drop in at least 3 places. Windows are often not as square as they look.

Select your headrail valance option.
Standard Valance: We supply you a valance that is exactly the width of the wood blind plus 10mm. If the "Recess" option has been selected, then the valance will be the "width" - 12mm (to allow for brackets etc.) + 10mm (to cover the brackets and fixings).
Mitred Returns: We supply you a valance plus 2 sides that have been cut to fit either side of the blind headrail. You will generally order mitred returns for an Outside fixing and/or sash windows where you can see the side of the wood blind/brackets.
Uncut Valance: We supply 2 mitred returns and a valance that is over long. You can cut to size for a perfect fit. You will generally order an uncut valance where 2 or more wood blinds meet, to provide a continuous valance.

Things to remember
As with all wood products, variations in grain, texture and colour along with some slight warpage may occur. These are natural characteristics of real wood blinds. We will manufacture your wood slat blinds to sizes you provide. If these sizes are incorrect it is not possible to change your blind size since it is tailor made for you.Important: Cancellations must be made in writing by fax/email and will not be accepted if production has started. Claims for damages must be made in writing within 24 hours. We recommend you sign for all goods as "unchecked", unless you physically check for damages in transit. Lifestyle Shutters cannot accept claims for damages in transit unless they are signed in as "damaged" or "unchecked"s.
